TYPES OF CHRISTMAS PHOTOS YOU CAN TAKE THIS YEAR, BY THE SOWDEN PROJECT

Falalalalala! Christmas is approaching very closely and I'm super excited! I hope you'll be having a great Christmas spending time with friends and family! What other way to commemorate your Christmas with out photos? In this blog, it will highlight four types of photos to take during the Christmas season!

1. THE CLASSIC

I know what you're thinking, "why are you even including this in your blog if everyone already does it?". The answer to that is that it's a classic photo that everyone should take if they have a tree! One of the main parts of Christmas, aside from the actual behind behind it, is the Christmas tree itself. This is the classic photo to be taken, which shouldn't be forgotten. This is where everyone gathers around, to socialize, admire the decorations, and to even open presents at! Types of photos for this one would include a family photo, a picture of everyone opening Christmas presents, the process of hanging up the ornaments, or even dancing in front of the dress. The options are endless and can be always altered and changed based on personal preference.

                                             2. THE PRESENTS

Another part of the Christmas festivities is to open presents! However, a great photo would be for you, or someone else, to hold some nicely wrapped Christmas presents. This could be taken in front of the Christmas tree, or even outdoors. This would be a great photo to create contrast if you are wearing a brighter shirt, and the gifts are being wrapped in a darker color. If you are a great gift wrapper, this would be the opportunity to show off to your other friends of how skilled you are! (Just kidding, but low key kinda true to though).

3. THE CHRISTMAS DINNER

What would Christmas be without a Christmas dinner! This would be a great photo to take of since you have all of your friends or family together at one spot eating amazing food. For this, you can take photos of people eating, or people serving other people food, people laughing and etc. The opportunities here are also endless as well. You can chose to take photos of the food, photos of people, and etc. If you were to take photos of people, you can take pictures of people, behind people, on the side and etc. You can even take photos from the top view of everyone with all the food together to truly see the layout that is being presented.

                                                 4. THE CHEER

Another great photo to be taken is on the drinks! Who doesn't like a glass of red wine with their Christmas dinner? Since typically people "cheers" their wine glasses to celebrate an event, Christmas is an amazing even to cheers for! Cheers for Christmas and to wish people a great Christmas break celebrated with their loved ones.  Simply when everyone is cheering, take a picture of it and you can try to get your friends to smile in the background too! Or you can even just take a picture of your self standing in front of a Christmas tree while holding your glass of wine while smiling candidly and while looking away. Have fun with your wine glasses and be creative!

I hope you enjoyed those types of photos that you can take during the Christmas season! I've come across to a video that can help you get the right lighting settings for those pictures! See the video below for more details!
